Our 'Focus on Technicians' Project showcases some of the very different roles and skill technicians across the University have. This series raises the curtain on some of our 'behind the scenes' roles and gives a snapshot of the different and often unique working environments and jobs needed to keep the University running.
Despite the difference in qualifications and entry routes, they also show the commonalities of technical staff across very different sectors. The practical nature of the work, the adaptability of the staff and the problem solving abilities all shine through.
