Join us for our Technician Professional Development Fund Drop-in sessions to ask any questions that you may have. The Technician Professional Development Fund is a new pilot scheme designed to support technical staff across the University in accessing development opportunities.
The Fund provides small grants (up to £2500) to enable technicians to take part in activities such as:
• Conference attendance
• Training courses and workshops
• Secondments and training exchanges
• Other professional development opportunities
Applications are welcomed on a rolling basis and will be reviewed against clear operating guidelines to ensure fairness and inclusivity. Please see our terms and conditions. Support is available for technicians at all career stages and across all departments. The closing date for this round of applications is 31 October 2025.
There are options to attend this session both in-person or online. For in-person, this session will be held at West Hub, Meeting Room 5, (Boardroom 2). If you are interested, please book a place.
